The CPSA is undertaking an online survey of its members in order to learn more about views and experiences on issues related to diversity in our discipline.
The proposal to conduct a survey on diversity was recommended by the Committee of Diversity, which was established in September 2006 and chaired by Professor Joanna Everitt . The committee reported to the Board in June 2007, and the Board accepted the recommendation that such a survey be carried out. The Committee then worked with colleagues with experience in survey research to develop the survey itself.
The survey is meant for all CPSA members and responses will be kept in strictest confidence. The CPSA will use this information to develop resources for departments and to improve its professional services to the membership.
CPSA members will receive an email with instructions for completing the survey including information about usernames and passwords.
