Abstract: Inspired by discussions at the Feminist Praxis in Academic Careers at the 2017 CPSA conference, this panel brings together feminist political science scholars from a variety of different institutions and who are at different stages in academic careers to share their experiences as feminists in the discipline. As scholars we often experience many of the phenomena we research and study yet there are not many collective opportunities to share and consider these experiences and what they mean in terms of feminist and disciplinary knowledge, teaching practices, and service demands/expectations. Bringing together this panel is one effort at creating space to collectively discuss the politics we encounter as feminists in political science as well as to share strategies for support and change.
